Spring 2020
I began my journey through the MIST at CSUMB in the spring of 2020 as an 'open university' student. As such, I paid a fee to take classes before matriculation. As I already knew I was accepted to the MIST program beginning in the Fall 2020 term, I was able to get a little ahead by taking two courses early that I would then not have to take in the following year. This allowed me to take an extra elective in Spring 2021, as well as ease my course load for that semester.
