Intro to Project Management introduces and explains fundamental concepts and principles of project management (PM) in plain English. It helps bridge the gap for people who want to learn PM basics, but are not yet ready to obtain PMP certification[2]. Students learn essential PM terms and phrases and a simple yet powerful framework for project planning and management. In addition, students have plenty of opportunities to apply and practice the skills. You learn the basics about how to develop a project charter; how to document and manage project scope; the restrictions of the triple constraint (i.e., speed, quality and price); how to identify and manage project stakeholders, resources, communications, change requests and risks. We also explore basic skills in leadership and answers to the question, “Why would someone (or a project team) follow you?
